Live-streaming services at St. George via Facebook

Dear St. George Family,

With the recent announcement of the new CDC recommendations and requests, it is unfortunate, but necessary for us to now cancel public access (to parishioners and visitors) to all liturgical services for the next two weeks (until March 31st). 

We are working on setting up livestreaming for the first part of the Liturgy (Liturgy of the Word) this coming Sunday on our parish facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/stgeorgesd/. 

Though this practice does not correspond with the liturgical practice of our Church where gathering as a community is central, it does provide some connection for our community of faith during this extraordinary time. 

Let us remember the words of our Lord: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
