Sunday – Day of the Resurrection – Lord’s Day

The first was the day of the Resurrection of Christ and the beginning of the new creation brought about by His victory over death.
By the end of the first century the Church gave to this special day of Christ’s resurrection a distinctly Christian name: the Lord’s Day – (Sunday).
Reserve Sunday for your participation in the Divine Liturgy. Set aside all other activities and plan on coming to St. George church.
