Canonization of Ss Mardarije and Sebastian; Labor Day Weekend Celebration at St. Steven’s Cathedral

Dear Parishioners and Friends,

We are pleased to inform you that His Holiness our Patriarch IRINEJ has been invited and will attend the Celebration of Canonization of Ss. Sebastian of Jackson and San Francisco and Mardarije of Libertiville in Alhambra (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) on Labor Day weekend, Sept. 4,5,6, 2015.

Also, the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik has been invited and will be in attendance on this historic occasion.

Many of our Bishops from Serbia and North America also will be in attendance.

As you might be aware, an event of such magnitude as this one will require logistics of many different sorts as well as the financial support and generous sponsors from the entire Western American Diocese including our own parish!

The deadline is July 31st. That leaves us with the only few weeks (three Sundays) to get as many Sponsors and Greetings & Ads for the Annual publication as possible.
Please make every effort to be a part of this once in a lifetime historic event – Celebration of the Canonization of Ss. Sebastian & Mardarije!
